Current basic rules

A standard Lotto America play costs $1.

Players select five numbers from 1 through 52 and one Star Ball number from 1 through 10.

Drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

The Star Ball

The Star Ball is drawn from a separate set from the five main numbers. Matching requirements and prize amounts depend on the number of main balls matched and whether the Star Ball is also matched.
